We had a sunny, sandy, island kind of place in mind, instead we chose a cloudy, snowy, mountainy place. I suppose this is what happens when you procrastinate, are self employed, and can't find the five star all-inclusive island trip for a great last minute deal (like the day you are suppose to be leaving). But, we got to visit Brother in the freezing Boulder, CO. They have not seen temps (highs in the 20's) like this, at this time of year in like 40 years. Brett and I were still able to stay at an incredible hotel one night and a bed and breakfast the other. We shopped a little, ate a lot, and took a journey up the mountain to Estes Park. It is a beautiful place. Maybe we should start planning our 10 year anniversary trip now!
To the most incredible 5 years ever...God is Good!
