First the beach, and then the pool/hot tub. Kate liked the beach, more than the years past, but loved the pool and hot tub. Jax was a little uneasy of the beach at first, but the second day played for a long time in the sand. I even went and put his little legs in the chilly ocean water and he didn't mind it at all. After the drive down he was totally chilled out at the pool, cuddling up with daddy!
